How to Display Language Bar on Windows XP
I do not know how it could happen, but it DOES happen sometimes. The language bar, which has been always there, doesn't exist anymore. Unless you are so intrigued in the mistery of Windows XP to invest hours for the cause, here is the procedure to easily regain the language bar onto your display. A printer-friendly version (PDF format) of this document is here.
1. Click Start at the bottom left, and click Control Panel.

2. Click Date, Time, Language, and Regional Option.

3. Click Regional and Language Options.

4. Click Languages.

5. Click Details...

6. Click Language Bar.

7. Check both "Show the Language bar on the desktop" and "Show additional Language bar icons in the task bar".
Finally, click OK.

8. Your Language bar is back!

9. This procedure is just an additional idea for your convenience.

If you think this bar is far too long with some docs that you would never use, right-click somewhere vacant on Language bar.
A small window pops up. You may choose any apperance on it or just click on the check to remove Text Labels.

10. Done!
Do you want to learn how to write Japanese and practise it? ---------->> Then, go to Sue Sensei's How to write Japanese E-mailI
Oh but before then, I have to install Japanese IME 2002 on my computer! ---------->> No problem. You find the document again here.
